Verdict

Xiaomi Redmi 8A is a decent smartphone in an entry-level budget. It has a good pair of camera that can click excellent images. The device also provides decent performance due to the presence of a great processor. The battery backup is also excellent for daily use. However, a better display would have made it a perfect option.

Xiaomi Redmi 8A comes with a 6.22-inch screen that has a completely bezel-less design along with a water-drop notch. It has a screen resolution of 720 x 1,520 pixels. On the optics department, the device has a 12MP lens. At the front, it gets an 8MP front lens. These cameras are capable of capturing crisp and clear images.
Storage, Battery and Connectivity
The device houses a 32GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB by using a memory card. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh Li-Po battery, which is good enough to keep the entertainment running for long hours. As for networking and sharing, the device has some standard features 4G with VoLTE and microUSB.
Performance
The Xiaomi Redmi 8A is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset, which holds two Cortex A53 quad-core processors having 1.95GHz and 1.45GHz clock speed. It has a 2GB RAM that provides a good quality multitasking. An Adreno 505 GPU takes care of the graphical requirements.
